This cable is a thermoplastic high heat resistant nylon wire. It is also used as a machine tool wire and appliance wire specified by NEC. The wire is rated at 600 volts and 75°C and 90°C. It can be used in wet or dry locations according to TEWN. THWN:Indicates flame retardant, heat resistant thermoplastic insulation with extruded nylon or equivalent. The conductor is rated at 75°C wet or dry THWN-2: Same as THWN, but the conductor is rated at 90°C wet or dry.
